Every year, Nana & I get together for a weekend of holiday baking. With the baby due in the next few weeks, we decided to do it a little early this year. So Nana came over Saturday afternoon and we dug in! (Side Note: Christmas came a little early for me when the new camera Dan got me as a gift was delivered Friday. Dan had a great time over the weekend playing with and figure out the much more high tech device. All pictures are actually courtesy of him!)
Riley also got in on the baking action!
After ten hours, spread over two days, our final count was: 8 Dozen Chocolate Toffee Cookies
5 Dozen Chocolate Malt Sandwich Cookies (that’s 10 dozen individual cookies, for those of you who are counting)
10 Dozen Chocolate Peppermint Cookies (recipe courtesy of Missy McClure)
8 Dozen Rugelach
6 Dozen Orange Spice Cookies
6 Dozen Lemon Spice Cookies
All cookies were tested and approved by our official cookie taster!
Next up, Riley and I will be baking 5 pies on Wednesday for the Schaffer Thanksgiving!
