Riley officially turned 1 1/2 years old this past Friday!!! It has been a pure pleasure to watch him grow from a cuddly infant to an independent toddler. It has also been amazing to see his personality develop and shine through. He is a very effective communicator, using both verbal words and signs. He is very organized and methodical, preferring things in their place. He has a hilarious sense of humor and a vast variety of facial expressions, with the best smile!
Today we went to Jea’s for some pictures. I really have to hand it to her for always being so patient and getting amazing shots, no matter how long it takes! Riley is not very interested in sitting still to pose, he is on the move and wants to check everything out. The original plan was to get some pictures in a fall outfit and a few in his Halloween costume. The outfit went well. In the process of trying to change him into the costume, Jea got a few shots of him wearing his undershirt and jeans. The Halloween costume did not go so well, I think he was getting a little hot. Lately Riley prefers as little clothes as possible, so as soon as the costume came off, he ran around being silly in his diaper. Again Jea seized the moment and got some cute pictures.
