Friday, with Riley in his race suit and Delaney outfitted as Tiana (with princess Minnie Mouse ears!), we took advantage of early admission at went straight to Cars Land! We were able to on Radiator Springs Racers twice (yay for stroller passes!) and Luigi’s Flying Tires before it opened to the general public. Then took a break for breakfast at Flo’s V8 Café.
We finally got to go on Soarin’ Over California! We also went on some of our California Adventure favorites: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train and Toy Story Mania. We also stopped for a visit with Buzz Lightyear!
We had a big night planned, so we went back to the hotel to cool off in the pool and have rest time.
In the afternoon, we went to Disneyland and went on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Splash Mountain and did the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough.
We had a really fun dinner at Big Thunder Ranch BBQ and the kids participated in their stage show.
The grand finale of our trip was reserved seating for Fantasmic! and fireworks! Our seats were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and both shows were fantastic!!! Plus we each got a dessert box with way too many goodies in it!!
It was a bit too late of a night for the kids, they could not get in the stroller fast enough to walk back to the hotel, and marked the first time of the entire trip that either of them fell asleep in the stroller!! In fact, they slept the entire way back to the hotel and transferred directly into bed without waking up, which for my kids is unbelievable!!
