Wallace Family (est. 2003): Disneyland: Day 3

Wednesday was a BIG day! We had reservations to eat breakfast with the princesses at Ariel’s Grotto in California Adventure! Ariel is Delaney’s absolute favorite, so it wasn’t a surprise when we let her buy one character dress in Downtown Disney on Monday and she chose Ariel, and this was the perfect day to wear it! Riley knew that after breakfast we were going to Cars Land, so he also chose to get outfitted in his Lightning McQueen race suit Grandma and Grandpa gave him a couple years ago.

We made a quick stop at Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, then went straight to breakfast. Right now, Ariel’s Grotto is the only place in either park you can see Ariel and Delaney was extremely excited to meet her! The fact they were in matching dresses made it that much more special for her! She was a little disappointed Prince Eric wasn’t around though :)

They gave the kids crowns to decorate and we got to see Aurora (again – 2nd time), Cinderella, Jasmine (again – 2nd time) and Snow White (again – 3rd time)!

Bellies full and it was off to Cars Land! All I can say is that Cars Land is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Pictures do not do it justice!! As you could imagine, Riley was in heaven!!

One of the biggest surprises was the characters!! I assumed they would have statues of Cars characters for the kids to take pictures with, but characters were actually driving around and talking!!

We had a blast going on Luigi’s Flying Tires, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and Radiator Springs Racers. Delaney was too short for Racers, but she was fine going on Luigi’s more and I did the stroller pass – BONUS!!

After lunch at Cozy Cone, we did the rides in Bugs Land (Flik’s Flyers, Francis’ Ladybug Boogie, Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train, Princess Dot Puddle Park and Tuck & Roll’s Drive ‘em Buggies) and went back to the hotel for a break.

Once refreshed and Delaney had a costume change to Snow White, we went back to California Adventure for dinner at Sonoma Terrace. By pure luck, the Pixar Play Parade started shortly after we sat down to eat and we happened to have a perfect, slightly elevated view!!

We spent a little more time at Cars Land. Riley and Dan went back on Racers (with a stroller pass for me!), while Delaney and I went on a couple other rides and ran into a few characters!
