Wally Returns

The Christmas season for our family kicked off on Monday. Of course Santa knows we do not start Christmas things until after Delaney’s birthday, so it was no surprise when Wally showed up on Monday morning. Both kids love running around to find him every morning!

Cookies with Nana

Before Nana headed back to Reno from celebrating Delaney’s birthday with us, she helped Riley make our first batch of Christmas cookies (Missy McClure’s Chocolate Peppermint Bon Bons).Since Delaney was napping, they thought it would be fun to go outside to crush the peppermints with a rolling pin :)

Christmas Tree Hunt

We got our tree at a family tree farm in Redmond, Serres Family Farm. This is the same farm we went to in October with the Peterson’s to get pumpkins.

Decorating

Every year gets better and better as the kids get older! They both loved decorating this year! Delaney was really into putting ornaments on the tree and she was really good at it! Riley insisted on having a star on top (good thing we have both angel and star toppers to choose from) and wanted to be the one to put it there!

Foam Snowmen

We did a foam sticker craft to use as tags for the candy canes Riley was giving to his classmates. Delaney got in on the action and did a few of her own. I just helped a little bit with putting the names on.
