August Misc

Summer is winding down and we have had a fun filled month! In addition to the other activities I have already posted, we had a park play date with the Huffaker’s (yes, Delaney is dressed as Princess Tiana), celebrated three birthdays (Will’s 4th, Lydia’s 1st & Keertna’s 1st), did a couple science experiments (colored flowers & fizzy fun), Delaney got her hair cut, we made homemade dark chocolate and peanut butter ice cream, spent a lot of time in the pool, played at the DeNosky’s (and found out how hard it is to clean up an entire bottle of baby powder off hardwood floors), went to Remlinger with the Balsley’s, had an Olympic get together to watch Team USA in the basketball semifinals, attended a dinner fundraiser for Moms’ Group, hung out at the Huffaker’s, watched some Disney movies (Lady & the Tramp, Pocahontas, Peter Pan, Aladdin & Finding Nemo) and Riley went to another week long summer camp (Build It camp). Wow, now we are almost ready for school to start!

Question: Why do the trees at the park have 'socks' on?
