I had planned to do some train crafts this week, but we got sidetracked with other things.
The Peterson’s are in the middle of their relocation process and came to town on Sunday. On Monday, they invited us to their temporary place for dinner.
Tuesday was the first Art in the Park of the summer. For six weeks, the City of Redmond has kid friendly performances on the lawn at City Hall during lunch time. Daddy met us for a picnic lunch and music.
Wednesday was the start of summer story times at the library. Riley and Delaney did great, listening to stories for an hour, and even got signed up for the summer reading program.
Thursday the kids and I spent most of the day grocery shopping.
Friday Riley and Delaney went to the Peterson’s to hangout with Ramona and Tommy while Dan and I went to see Harry Potter with some of his team from work.
Saturday we went to try Top Pot Doughnuts, which is supposedly the best doughnut place in Washington.
Sunday ended up being our only train themed event all week. We headed to the Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie for a Day Out with Thomas! There were a lot of things for the kids to do and see! Some of Riley and Delaney’s favorites included the craft tent,
meeting Sir Topham Hatt,
and taking a ride in one of Thomas’ passenger cars!
It was a fun filled Day Out with Thomas!
