Wednesday 4/13

Ready to fly out - two adults, two kids, two dogs, two car seats, two kennels, three suitcases, three backpacks, one pack and play, and one double stroller. Most were well rested by the time we got there!

It was a little tricky at times, but we made it! Getting on the freeway, we saw a perfect vanity plate to welcome us to town!

Friday 4/15

We had to take the rental minivan back and switch it out for a Nissan Sentra.

Dan stopped by the office to pick up a couple things and discovered he had been Biebered again! Ilene is a very resourceful (and hilarious!) person! Bieber Redmond 4.1 Then we relaxed the rest of the day and swam in the indoor pool at the corporate apartment complex. The kids went to bed early and that is when things got interesting! We started a load of laundry, then sat down to watch some TV. A little bit later we discovered the washer was leaking and had flooded the hall and entry way! As we were cleaning it up, the fire alarm went off. We had to get the kids up and took them to the car. Come to find out, water started dripping into the apartment below us, so they decided to pull the fire alarm! We crammed everything we could into the itty bitty Sentra and waited to be setup with a new unit. Finally, three hours later (10:30pm!) we were at our new temporary home in a different complex across town.

Saturday 4/16

We went to Tot Spot Cafe in Woodinville.What a great business idea! Since the kids don’t have much to play with at corporate housing, it was the perfect indoor place for us to take them to play!We also stayed for lunch! Delaney had a blast playing in the tub that night, with Tupperware of all things!

Sunday 4/17

We went back to Woodinville in the morning for an Easter egg hunt. Woodinville Easter Egg Hunt 1.1 This was their first Easter egg hunt outside of Grandma and Grandpa’s backyard! Mom, Riley & Delaney 5.1 Dad, Riley & Delaney 3.1 On our way home, we stopped at Theno’s Dairy to try their ice cream. Delicious! We will definitely be there quite a bit!Back at the apartment, Delaney put on a fashion show for us, sporting swim goggles and a dog leash :)

Monday 4/18

Uncle David’s 32nd birthday!!

Our things arrived! It was Dan’s first day of work in the Redmond office, so the kids and I spent the day at the house while the movers unload all our stuff! Riley and Delaney started out in the pack and play together, to stay out of the way. The crew was awesome and even set up a blocked area with toys so Riley and Delaney could have a little freedom!
