Daddy’s Birthday

Riley asked me to make cake pops to bring to school this week for his birthday treat, so I took a stab at it on Monday. Not too bad for my first time, a little too big but very delicious! Riley took the treats to school on Tuesday, a few days before his birthday, but since Miss Stacey is due any day I was thinking it could be his last day. Grandma flew into town on Tuesday night for the rest of the week.

Wednesday was Daddy’s birthday. He was still in Seattle, so we sang him “Happy Birthday” over the phone and had cake pops to celebrate! 

Riley went to school on Thursday morning. After class, it was finally time to pick Daddy up from the airport and celebrate his birthday the right way! After naps for the kids, Daddy opened his gifts. Well, Riley and Delaney technically opened them for him.

Then it was off to Hacienda for dinner!
