Garbage Guy

Riley enjoys watching the “garbage guy” make his weekly pickup. In the past I have either held him by the window or let him sit on his changing table (with me standing close by). Typically the garbage man comes between 7:30am and 8:00am. So when Delaney woke up and needed to be fed at 7:25am, I was a little concerned Riley would not get to see the garbage truck, which would leave me with a very upset toddler. Step stool to the rescue!   One problem, Riley was patiently waiting, but the garbage guy did not come at his usual time. For the rest of the morning whenever Riley would hear any little noise from outside, he would run to the window and jump up on the stool, only to be disappointed.Finally, at 1:30pm, the “garbage guy” showed up! As always, Riley was excited to see him make his pickup around our court and the court across the street before telling him bye-bye for another week.
