Riley woke up on Friday with high fever. Poor little guys slept most of the day, but when he was awake all he wanted to do was cuddle on the couch and watch Elmo’s World. Good thing Dan and I ended up cancelling our evening plans to stay home because Riley ended up getting up quite a bit.
The fever had gone down slightly by Saturday morning, but it was still pretty high so we canceled our plans to go to Andrew’s birthday party. Again, Riley slept a lot throughout the day and got noticeably better.
By Sunday he was pretty much back to his old self, he was just still sleeping a little more than usual. So after Riley got up from a morning nap, we decided to venture out to Squeeze In for breakfast.
Back home in time for another nap. Riley and Daddy spent the afternoon in the backyard doing their usual weekend activities while I was in the house cooking and baking up a storm.
