Reno

MONDAY

We flew into Reno on Monday afternoon for the Thanksgiving holiday. Dan had to work the first part of the week, so after dropping him off at the Reno office, the kids and I went to Nana and Papa’s to get settled. When Dan was done working, we had dinner at Harrah’s Steakhouse followed by a shopping trip to Silver and Blue Outfitters, while the kids hung out with Nana and Papa.

TUESDAY

We arranged a family get together to see everyone and celebrate Delaney’s upcoming birthday. Preparations were a group effort! Papa did the cake, Nana planned the sundae bar, Aunt Kristy crafted the cupcakes and Aunt Lisa decorated the cake pops. I loved how the ice cream theme carried through and we all LOVED getting to see everyone!

WEDNESDAY

Wednesday night Riley and Delaney had a sleepover with Beau and Cole at Uncle David and Aunt Kristy’s house, which they look forward to every time we are in town! Dan and I spent the evening having dinner at Johnny’s with Nana and Papa.

THURSDAY

Thursday Aunt Amy delivered Declan Thomas!Oh yeah, it was also Thanksgiving and Papa gave the kids gifts that he had picked up on his cross country trip earlier in the month!

FRIDAY

We flew home on Friday to beat all the chaos. It was perfect, the Reno and Seattle airports were both practically empty!!
