I cannot believe this day is already here, our baby girl is one year old! We spent the day celebrating as a family. Delaney slept in and was all smiles when she woke up!
Her birthday breakfast consisted of homemade pancakes and fruit. Everyone devoured it!
After a short morning nap, Delaney opened her presents from us.
Riley’s gift to Delaney was the last one she opened and he was so patient the entire time, but he could not stand it any longer. He opened the card he had picked out for her and “read” it to her. So sweet!
Then he did the big reveal, he had picked out a girly Cozy Coupe for her! Now she has one of her very own and he does not have to share his with her :)
For dinner, I made the four of us Delaney’s current favorite meal, chicken penne alfredo with Caesar salad and garlic bread. Then Nana and Papa joined us for cake, which was enjoyed by all, especially Delaney!
Throughout the day, she loved getting calls from family singing “Happy Birthday” to her!
She was so exhausted from her big day, she went to bed early and missed the call from Uncle David, Aunt Kristy, Beau and Cole :(
