Saturday was a day we look forward to all year, The Great Reno Balloon Races! We woke the kids up at 3:45am, loaded the car and off we went! Our timing was perfectly in sync! Uncle David, Aunt Kristy, Beau and Cole got there literally the exact same time we did – 4:30am! Once we got parked, Uncle David handed out glow stick to all the kids, so cool! When got settle on the field, Uncle David handed out his next surprise, hand warmers for everyone, what a lifesaver! Then we were ready for the Glow Show! 
Dawn Patrol is my favorite part!
As the sun came up, we realized the Ciccotti and Metzger families were hanging out less than ten feet from us! A few minutes later, the McCoy family joined us too!
This year, since it was September 11, they did a tribute before the national anthem and military flyover. Two balloons went up, side by side to represent the twin tours, with an American flag connecting them.
Mass Ascension is what it is all about!
Riley was completely in awe and loving every minute! Delaney thought they were cool, but found other ways to entertain herself.
My cousins sponsor a balloon, which was part of Dawn Patrol, so it was one of the last balloons to inflate for Mass Ascension. The crew was so awesome! They let us get in the basket
