Last Friday we packed up the kids and headed to Las Vegas for the weekend. Although there was not much napping on the drive, both kids did great! Riley enjoyed watching Cars and Finding Nemo on his DVD player.
Delaney would sleep about thirty minutes every three hours, but did not fuss at all.
Who says Tonopah is boring?!? We got to see a few military tanks at the gas station.
Although it was slow going, we made it to Gma and Gpa’s house right before dinner.
Everyone slept very soundly Friday night and got a little extra sleep on Saturday morning. We spent the day visiting. Riley helped Gpa with some gardening, they planted some tomato plants together. 
For dinner, we went to our old stomping ground. Mark Rich’s Pizza! I did not realize how much I had missed that place! We got a pint of their homemade ranch to bring home.
Before dinner Riley entertained himself with his new toy. I was very pleased to see how much he loved the pizza! Then he spent some time flirting with the girls at nearby tables.
Sunday we ate breakfast,
played with new toys from the Easter bunny,
colored Easter eggs,
got some pictures of the kids in their Easter outfits
(what a pretty, pretty princess!),
had an Easter egg hunt,
and went swimming.
We drove home on Monday. Riley did pretty much the same things he did on the previous drive. This time Delaney slept most of the way, only waking up in Tonopah to eat and get changed. She must be going through a growth spurt. Once we got home and laid her down to stretch and play, she fell asleep without making a single peep.
