We started off the holiday weekend a little early. On Tuesday Riley and I took Aunt Lisa and Uncle Jeff to the airport, they were heading to Texas for Uncle AJ's boot camp graduation. Now he is off to tech school (still in Texas).
On Wednesday, we had dinner at Nana and Papa's house. Riley has become very interested in Papa's whiskers.
Bright and early Thursday morning we were off to the airport to fly to Las Vegas. Riley's new car seat was too big, so he had to be a lap baby this trip. Luckily, he slept most of the flight.

When he was awake he loved looking out the window.
Grandma and Grandpa Wallace picked us up from the airport and took us to their house for Riley's first Thanksgiving dinner.
After dinner, Grandma gave Riley a tour of their Christmas tree.
On Friday, Dan and I took Riley to see our first house and check out the old neighborhood. It was neat to see the changes the current owners have made to the house. The neighborhood has changed a lot in the past four years!

While we were in the area, went we to one of our favorite restaurants and met Jake for lunch.
That afternoon, Grandma and I went shopping. Riley stayed at the house to play with Daddy and Grandpa.
Saturday was a relaxing day filled with lots of playtime.
On Sunday morning, it was time to go back to the airport and fly home. Our flight was full of babies!! There were eight in our immediate vicinity, including a set of four month old twins sitting in back of us. Amazingly, once the plane was airborne all of them fell asleep and were quite the duration of the flight.

As Dan and I went through the boxes, Riley entertained himself with the snowman blanket.
Riley has perfected pulling himself up and is now working on waving. He was melting my heart, this is how he would greet us every time we would get him up from nap.
When it was time to pick up Aunt Lisa and Uncle Jeff from the airport, Riley was taking his last nap, so I went by myself. When I got home, Riley spent most of the evening playing with his new football Aunt Lisa and Uncle Jeff got him on their trip. It quickly became his new favorite toy!
